Chicago Fire FC Acquires Winger Johan Gómez from German Side Eintracht Braunschweig
CHICAGO (Sept. 1, 2026) – Chicago Fire FC today announced that the Club has acquired winger Johan Gómez (pronounced: JOE-hahn GO-mehz) from Eintracht Braunschweig of the German 2. Bundesliga via transfer. His contract with the Fire will run through the 2028-29 season, with a Club option for the 2029-30 season.
