2023 Chicago Fire FC Adult Soccer Tournament Programming

Tournament soccer is some of the most exciting and exhilarating forms of competition that players can experience. Just like the World Cup or Champions League, our tournaments offer another dimension to our adult programming while connecting us to the vibrant soccer communities across Chicagoland. Through our tournaments, we aim to recognize and elevate storied historic amateur soccer organizations, connect with the rich supporter group culture across the city, and celebrate the diversity of our sport and city.

Chicago World Cup 1280x553

International soccer is massively important to the growth of the game here in the US. Every 4 years, teams representing nations from across the globe compete at varying age groups to crown the world’s top soccer nation. This coming Labor Day Weekend, CFRS will be hosting the second edition of our own World Cup tournament, which will see teams representing their home nations and sponsored by the Chicago Consulate General’s offices & cultural organizations face off in a tournament to crown Chicago’s top soccer nation. The first edition of this tournament in 2022 was a massive success, and we can’t wait to see this year’s tournament shine even brighter.

  • $400 Team Entry Fee
  • 8v8 Format - 20-Minute Matches
  • Roster Size: 12-18 Players
  • At least 3 matches per team
  • First Place Premium Prizes
  • Chicago World Cup Trophy
  • Group Tickets to Upcoming CFFC Home Match

Our 2022 edition of this tournament saw the USA face Brazil in the final, which went to penalty kicks. Eventually, the Brazilians took the trophy home and the pride of being crowned Chicago’s top soccer nation for 2022. Lucky for us, we don’t need to wait 4 years to see if they’re able to hold onto their title. Come out to the Fire Pitch on Labor Day Weekend to cheer on your (Chicago) national team!
