🤔 Fast Fact

According to MLS, the Red Bulls and the Fire rank first and second respectively in regards to the difficulty of their remaining regular season schedules. New York's remaining opponents are averaging 2.1 points per game, which includes the Fire and they're current five-game unbeaten run at Soldier Field. The Fire's remaining opponents are averaging 1.84 points per game.

In the article linked above, the league states that "The strength of schedule for each team was calculated by taking the 2020 average points per game at home and on the road for each team's opponent to come up with a number that reflects how difficult the schedule is (or isn't) for the final weeks of the season. A higher number means the schedule is more difficult, while a lower one means it's easier."

Following Saturday's contest with the Red Bulls, the Fire are on the road for three straight matches at Philadelphia, Nashville, and Minnesota before returning home for their final match of the regular season -- a Nov. 8 meeting with New York City FC.
