Representing the Chicago Fire, Bastian Schweinsteiger played 45 minutes as a second half substitution in Wednesday night's 2019 MLS All-Star game, a 3-0 victory for visitors Atlético Madrid at Orlando's Exploria Stadium.

Appearing as an MLS All-Star for the second time, Schweinsteiger entered the match for LAFC defender Walker Zimmerman to begin the second half. The German legend provided a dangerous moment in 81st minute, as he drove a hard direct free kick attempt low and just wide of goalkeeper Jan Oblak's net as the MLS All-Stars looked to break onto the scoresheet.

Atlético Madrid got goals from Marcus Llorente, João Félix, and Diego Costa to claim victory in the league's annual exhibition match. Click here for the full match recap and highlights.

Schweinsteiger will now rejoin the Fire as they prepare to take on the Houston Dynamo on the road this Saturday night at 8 p.m. CT (ESPN+).
