Chicago Fire midfielder Djordje Mihailović (USA) and Francisco Calvo (Costa Rica) have joined up with their respective national teams to take part in Concacaf friendly action on Wednesday night.

MIhailović and the USMNT embark on their first friendly leading into the 2019 Gold Cup on Wednesday night when they take on Jamaica at Audi Field in Washington D.C. Fans can watch coverage of kickoff live on FS1 and UniMás at 6 p.m. CT.


The 20-year-old Mihailović returns to U.S. camp after making his full national team debut in a pair of January friendlies against Panama and Costa Rica. He scored his first goal for the red, white and blue in their 3-0 takedown of Panama. After being named to the tournament's preliminary roster, Mihailović will hope to use Wednesday night's opportunity against Peru to garner consideration for head coach Gregg Berhalter's final U.S. Gold Cup roster set to be announced Thursday.

Also among preliminary inclusion for the 2019 Gold Cup, Calvo rejoins the Ticos for Wednesday night's friendly against Peru that begins at 8 p.m. CT from Estadio Monumental de Lima. 


Calvo last appeared for Costa Rica in a March 26th friendly against Jamaica, putting in a 90-minute shift in a 1-0 victory. He'll look to make his 50th national team appearance come kickoff and earn an inclusion in Costa Rica's final Gold Cup roster, additionally set to be announced Thursday.
