Vote CJ Sapong for MLS Goal of the Week!

Vote early, vote often. Chicago Fire forward CJ Sapong has been nominated for MLS Goal of the Week!

In first half stoppage time of Saturday's 2-2 draw on the road at Toronto FC, Sapong pulled down a long pass from defender Jeremiah Gutjahr with a deft touch, and coolly chipped Toronto goalkeeper Alex Bono with a lofted, left-footed finish that leveled the score. The goal was Sapong's third of the 2019 season, and pits him against Philadelphia'a Alejandro Bedoya, Seattle's Nicolas Lodeiro, LAFC's Diego Rossi, and FC Dallas' Reto Ziegler for the league's weekly honor.
