Chicago Fire duo Nemanja Nikolic and Matt Polster were recognized by the league on Monday as part of it's Team of the Week for their efforts in a 4-0 rout of the Vancouver Whitecaps over the weekend.
Nikolic scored the Fire's opening two goals, pushing his MLS-leading total to 16 on the season and additionally picking up Player of the Week honors as well. Polster makes his second consecutive appearance on the Team of the Week, after dishing out first half assists on both Nikolic's opener as well as Arturo Alvarez's volleyed golazo that pushed the Fire lead to 3-0.
