#CHIvSEA win lands Men In Red on MLS Team of the Week

Nikolic Accam Vincent

Saturday's 4-1 win over the reigning MLS Cup champs came courtesy of multiple standout performances within the Chicago Fire, and three of them were recognized Monday in the MLS Team of the Week for Week 11.

Striker Nemanja Nikolic buried a first-half penalty kick and scored again in the 76th minute to increase his co-MLS-leading goal total to eight in just 10 games, also adding an assist en route to his second appearance on the league's weekly honor roll. Joining him in the squad's first XI is David Accam, who recorded one goal and one assist for a second straight game and continued his climb up the Fire's all-time goal-scoring lists.

Second-year defender Brandon Vincent also earned a deserved nod from MLS, landing on the Team of the Week bench after assisting on Luis Solignac's 73rd-minute goal. Vincent's spot-on cross from the left touchline, which found the foot of Nikolic for the flick-on, was his first assist of 2017 and the fourth of his career. Vincent also helped limit the attacking chances of Seattle's highly regarded attack.
