Social Recap | Chicago's 47th Annual Pride Parade

Pride Parade

The Chicago Fire took part in Chicago's 47th annual Pride Parade on Sunday, joining members from Independent Supporters Association Section 8 Chicago and hundreds of thousands of the region's residents to support the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community.

The parade took place Sunday afternoon and traveled a four-mile route down Chicago's Halsted strip. Take a look below at selected social media grabs related to the event.

In addition to participation in the parade, the Fire will host the third annual Pride Night when the team hosts the New York Red Bulls on July 31. The club has partnered with the Center on Halsted, a community center dedicated to securing the health and well-being of LGBTQ people of Chicagoland. In support of Center on Halsted, fans can purchase Corner Kick tickets for $21 with $5 from each ticket sold going back to the Center.
