Four Chicago Fire Academy Players Named to U.S. U-15 Boys’ National Team Roster for 2025 Concacaf Boys’ U-15 Championship

Robert Turdean, Finn McCraney, Christopher Morales and Jason Nemo Called Up by Head Coach Ross Brady for the Regional Competition Held in Costa Rica in August

CHICAGO (July 24, 2025) – Chicago Fire FC and U.S. Soccer today announced that Homegrown midfielder Robert Turdean and Chicago Fire Academy players Finn McCraney, Christopher Morales and Jason Nemo have been called up to the U.S. Under-15 Boys’ National Team for the 2025 Concacaf Boys’ Under-15 Championship, held from Aug. 2-10 in Alajuela, Costa Rica.

The four players will join an 18-player roster that will be tasked with defending the 2023 Concacaf Boys’ Under-15 Championship title, the team’s first-ever championship in the tournament. The team was drawn into League A, Group B and will play three group stage matches against Saudi Arabia on Aug. 4; Costa Rica on Aug. 6; and Canada on Aug. 7. The matches will be played at FCRF Federation Field #1 and FCRF Federation Field #2 in Alajuela and will be streamed across Concacaf platforms.

The tournament will be the first regional competition under U-15 USBNT Head Coach Ross Brady, who has called up the four players to various camps since his hiring in February. McCraney and Nemo have been called up to all three camps under Brady since February, while Turdean and Morales have attended two. Most recently, Turdean started and played 45 minutes for the East All-Stars in the 2025 MLS NEXT All-Star Game held on July 21 in Austin, Texas.

With their inclusion, Chicago leads all Major League Soccer clubs with the highest number of call-ups on the team. See the rest of the roster below:

Chicago returns to the lakefront for an Eastern Conference rematch against New York Red Bulls. Kickoff at Soldier Field is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CT and will be followed by the second show of the Summer Concert Series presented by Café Bustelo featuring Chicago artist Chance the Rapper.
