Doody emphatically earns spot on MLS Team of the Week for Week 22

While his three-assist performance in Saturday night's 4-1 rout of the New England Revolution opened some eyes, Chicago Fire defender Patrick Doody's subsequent inclusion in Major League Soccer's latest Team of the Week shouldn't come as a surprise.

Doody played the key ball on the Fire's final three goals on the night, including the leading pass that was dummied by Bastian Schweinsteiger and teed off upon by midfielder Juninho and proved to be the match-winner. Doody's three-assist performance is a feat matched on only five other occasions in Fire history, most recently by Cuauhtemoc Blanco in 2008.
