Chicago Fire FC will host its second Town Hall of the 2023 season ahead of several highly anticipated matches, including the Fire hosting MLS expansion side St. Louis CITY SC at Soldier Field for the first time on Saturday, May 13. All Chicago Fire Supporters are invited to join the upcoming meeting.
The Town Hall will take place on Wednesday, May 3 at 7:00 p.m. CT at the Fire Pitch, located at 3626 N Talman Ave, and will provide a forum for all Fire Supporters to meet with Club leadership - including members of the First Team staff - to discuss the season so far, provide updates on upcoming Club initiatives, and provide an open floor for supporter-related questions and topics.
C.J. Brown and Junior Gonzalez, First Team Assistant Coaches, will provide an update on the team’s progress this season, discuss how Supporters can continue to connect with the team, and answer questions.
“I’m excited to meet with our Supporters and talk about how we can keep pushing our guys forward,” said Brown. “I know firsthand how crucial our Supporters are to the team. They had my back when I was on the field and it’s something I’ll never forget. I’m proud to keep building the connections between our Supporters and our team again as a coach.”
Paul Cadwell, Senior Vice President of Community Programs, Engagement & Facilities will provide supporters with an in-depth look at the Club’s new Performance Center being built in the Roosevelt Square neighborhood on the Near West Side and answer any questions about the project.
Additionally, Chicago Fire ambassador and MLS Season Pass play-by-play announcer, Tyler Terens, will record an episode of the Intercontinental Football Show from the Fire Pitch, featuring interviews with the C.J., Junior, and Supporters.
Weather permitting, outdoor space will be available for any Supporters to practice songs and chants or create banners, flags, or tifo. Supporters are encouraged to bring any instruments or supplies needed.
