CHICAGO (April 17, 2021) – Chicago Fire FC Academy played it’s first MLS Next road games of the season with the U-13 and U-14 sides facing Javanon FC in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
The U-13 side kicked off the weekend with a 4-0 win. Vitaliy Hlyut scored a hat trick with assists from Kruz Held, Parker Amoo-Mensah and Andrej Ilich. Kruz Held added a goal, also assisted by Ilich.
Marius Aiyenero of the Fire Academy U-14 team led the way with five goals in the team’s 7-3 win against Javanon FC. Daniel Zepeda opened the scoring with an assist by Vladas Simkus. Aiyenero then finished two penalties and had an unassisted goal before being assisted by Makhi Francis and Zepeda. Anthony Masino capped off the scoring, unassisted.
