The Chicago Fire Academy teams were in action on Memorial Day, hosting St. Louis Scott Gallagher Metro at Toyota Park in U.S.S.D.A. play on May 30.
The U-18s opened the triple-header with a 4-0 win led by goals from Anibal Mendoza and a Vitalis Takawira hat trick. The U-16s also earned the shutout with a goal from Alan Salmeron and an Adrian Ortega brace. In doing so, both teams clinched spots in the U.S.S.D.A playoffs.
The U-14s completed the sweep with a 3-2 win behind a goal from Alex Monis and a Josue Fernandez brace. The Fire conclude U.S.S.D.A. play on June 4 when they host St. Louis Scott Gallagher Missouri at Toyota Park.
