The first MLS trophy of 2021 is up for grabs this weekend with eMLS Cup taking place Saturday and Sunday.

Chicago Fire eMLS player Guillermo TreviƱo (a.k.a. Kid M3mito) enters the tournament as the No. 6 seed after finishing the qualifying events with a 14-5-7 overall record.

Kid M3mito won the inaugural cup back in 2018 with Houston Dynamo and faces 2019 winner DOOLSTA of Nashville SC in the first round of the single-elimination bracket. That match will take place at 2 pm CT on Saturday and Fans can watch the competition live on the official MLS TwitchTwitter, YouTube, and Facebook pages.

Should Kid M3mito advance, he'd take on Adamou of New York Red Bulls on Sunday in the quarterfinals, also kicking off at 2 pm CT.

The winner of eMLS Cup will receive a cash prize of $20,000. The second-place finisher gets $10,000, while those in third and fourth place both get $5,000.

Twenty-seven teams have participated in 2021, more than any other year since eMLS's inaugural season in 2018. The competition hosts many of North America's best EA SPORTS FIFA players, with 18 of them ranked in the top 100 of their respective regions.

You can follow Kid M3mito on Twitter, Instagram, and Twitch.
