A clutch four-win final night of qualifying on Tuesday has earned Chicago Fire eMLS player Guillermo TreviƱo (a.k.a. Kid M3mito) a spot in both the League Series Two Tournament this weekend and the 2021 eMLS Cup in March.

Kid M3mito entered Tuesday's five-match slate needing a strong performance to book his place in the marquee eMLS events. He came through with victories over Toronto FC (3-0), New York Red Bulls (5-2), Atlanta United (3-0), and LA Galaxy (4-3). That final win came in dramatic fashion as Kid M3mito scored a 90th-minute winner to take down the Galaxy.

The 12 points propelled Kid M3mito to lock down the No. 7 seed in the eight-team League Series Two Tournament, which will be broadcast live on on the official MLS TwitchTwitterFacebook and YouTube pages. Kid M3mito will take on DC United in the quarterfinals on Saturday, with the semifinals and final scheduled for Sunday afternoon. The prize pool for League Series Two is $15,000, with first place taking home $7,500.

Qualifying records from both League Series One and League Series Two counted toward the overall eMLS standings. The top 11 players earned automatic eMLS Cup qualification and Kid M3mito will enter as the No. 6 seed with an overall record of 14-5-7. Kid M3mito won the inaugural cup back in 2018 with Houston Dynamo.

The 2021 eMLS Cup will take place over two days from March 20-21 and will also be streamed live on MLS' channels.
