Fresh off of this weekā€™s first round of eMLS League Series One qualifying matches, Chicago Fire FCā€™s Guillermo TreviƱo (Kid M3mito) will pick up the sticks again on Saturday to resume his participation in FIFA 21 Global Series North American Qualifiers.

Each season, the FIFA 21 Global Series is where the top FIFA players in the world prove themselves as the best of the best. Players will compete against one another in regional tournaments over several months, with the top performers getting an invite to compete in their respective Regional Playoffs at the end of the year.

This weekend's matches mark the first of five North American qualifying rounds that will last throughout the Spring. PS4 players will kick things off on Saturday, while Kid M3mito and the Xbox players will take over on Sunday. Click here for the full North American qualifying schedule.

Kid M3mitoā€™s quest to make it out of the North American region resumes with Sunday's Round 12 matchup against EsG Henry at 12:05 p.m. CT. Fans can follow all the action live on the ELeagueTV twitch channel. Should he advance, heā€™ll face the winner of a contest between exraa and fellow eMLS competitor FCC Fiddle.

Separately, Kid M3mito began eMLS League Series One qualifying this week, playing a total of eight matches across Tuesday and Wednesday evening and finishing with a record of 3-4-1. That competition resumes play with another round of qualifiers to be held Jan. 12-13.

2021 is Kid M3mitoā€™s first season representing the Fire, after his signing was announced in mid-December. Since entering the competitive FIFA scene, the former eMLS Cup champion has qualified for the 2019 FUT Champions Cup, 2018 FUT Global Series Playoffs qualifier and the 2017 Berlin FUT Championship after placing third in the FUT Regionals.
