Entering Sundayâs game, the Fire holds an even 2-2-1 record in its last five encounters against Seattle. The last meeting between the two teams at CenturyLink Field occurred on June 23, 2018, with both teams earning a point in a tightly contested 1-1 draw.
Sundayâs match will be the only time the two teams face off in the 2020 MLS regular season. The Fire are 2-8-4 against the Sounders dating back to 2009, Seattle's first year in MLS.
