USA vs. Jamaica | Weds., 7 p.m. CT | FS1, Univision, UDN, FOX Sports GO
A trip to the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup Final is on the line when the U.S. Men's National Team takes on Jamaica on Wednesday night at 8:30 p.m. CT in a semifinal matchup at Nashville's Nissan Stadium.
The two sides met previously in a pre-Gold Cup friendly on June 5 -- a 1-0 win for Jamaica -- in which Chicago Fire midfielder Djordje Mihailović started and played 90 minutes. Mihailović and the USMNT will look to avenge that defeat on Wednesday night and punch their ticket to a sold out meeting with Mexico in the Gold Cup Final at Chicago's Soldier Field this Sunday, July 7. Mihailović was an unused sub in the USMNT's 1-0 quarterfinal victory over Curaçao on Sunday, but appeared twice in group play as the U.S. topped Group D with three-straight victories.
Jamaica enters Wednesday's semifinal meeting having eliminated Panama 1-0 on Sunday. In Gold Cup play, the U.S. and Jamaica last met in the 2017 final, with the U.S. claiming the trophy on the strength of a 2-1 win. Wednesday night will be their fifth meeting all-time in Gold Cup play, with the U.S. holding a 3-1-0 advantage head-to-head.
