MLS Disciplinary Committee fines and suspends Chicago Fire defender Lovel Palmer two games

NEW YORK (March 21, 2014) – The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended Chicago Fire defender Lovel Palmer for two games and fined him an undisclosed amount for violent conduct toward Portland Timbers forward Maximiliano Urruti in the 42nd minute of the game on March 16 (VIDEO).

Through the MLS Players Union, Palmer submitted an appeal, and in this case, the Committee’s decisions were upheld.
