Tobias Salquist

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS (CHICAGO FIRE):

• Salquist made his MLS debut on March 9 against the Columbus Crew, where he started and made a 90 minute appearance for the Fire in the 2-1 loss on the road.
• Since joining the Club, Salquist made six appearances (six starts) before suffering a knee injury that would sideline the defender for 4-6 weeks.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

• Salquist was a key part of a Silkeborg side that had recently returned to the Superliga after winning the Danish First Division in 2018-2019 and has remained in the Superliga ever since.
• Salquist originally joined Silkeborg from FC Midtjylland as a U-17 player in 2011, before signing a three-year contract with the club in 2015.
• Following a loan with Fjolnir (2016-2017) in Iceland and his departure in 2018, Salquist spent time at Waasland-Beveren (2018-2019) in Belgium, Lillestrom SK (2019-2020) in Norway and Hobro IK (2020-2021) in Denmark before returning to Silkeborg in 2021.
