Accomplishments: Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge State of IL champion. Finished 2nd and 5th place in previous years. 10-12 gold medals in Special Olympics Track, 6-8 Gold Medals in IL Special Olympics finals, Member of State of IL gold medal basketball team. Member of the 2016 Chicago Fire Unified Team and was thankfully selected for the MLS All Star game.
Impact Special Olympics has had on you and/or your family: Special Olympics gave me challenges and encouragement for all the sports I competed in. Special Olympics cheered me on when I was winning and congratulated me when I lost.
Why is being a member of the Chicago Fire All Star Team important to you? Family and friends congratulate me on this major accomplishment in my life on being a member of the Chicago Fire All Star Team. I believe my talent level has increased as well as the love of the game.
