Now in his fourth season with the Fire, Alex has become a steady presence in the midfield and provides Brazilian flair in the attack.

2014: Made 28 regular season appearances, starting 24 matches. Assisted on Mike Magee’s equalizing goal in the 40th minute of a 1-1 draw at Sporting Kansas City on July 6. Showed his versatility as he was utilized in a multitude of positions, serving as a midfielder, a withdrawn forward and even as the left back throughout the year. 

2013: Made 30 appearances, starting 18 matches. Scored a 86th minute game-winner in a 3-2 victory against the New England Revolution on Sept. 14…Assisted on Mike Magee’s goal in the 42nd minute on Oct. 12 on the road at FC Dallas. US OPEN CUP: Started all four of the Fire’s Open Cup matches.
