We continue our #ThanksLogan Tribute series with former Fire captain Chris Armas' memories of his former teammate.

A Fire Original, Armas is one of only three players in club history to be part of all six domestic championships. Club captain for five seasons following Piotr Nowak's retirement, Armas along with a few others passed the baton from the first Fire teams onto a new era of players, with Logan Pause being one of the main extensions from that time.

The former U.S. international looks back on Pause's rookie season with the Fire as well as the role Logan played in the 2006 U.S. Open Cup final win while he was suspended:

Be sure to be at Logan Pause's final match for the Fire this Friday, October 24 vs. Houston. The club will honor the 12-year Fire veteran before and after the regular season finale. Get your tickets here
