"Obviously it’s a hard loss for us. We believe we played well until the first Toronto goal was scored. We also believe that we were developing our plan of how we wanted to play this game, obviously the individual qualities of the players sided in this game, but I’m happy with the performance otherwise, good effort, played until the end which is what we preach. Obviously today wasn’t that good with the result, with our overall performance we have to improve, we have to look to the positives of this match. Prepare and work to prepare for the game against New York."
On tonight providing a lesson for his team
"Every game is a lesson. When you win, lose , tie you always learn. You see where you are, what you have to improve still. For us its the game that we will obviously think about and learn from but we are also looking forward to preparing for the next match."

On the match overall
"Thoughts on the game, strange game. I thought we started quite well, we had a goal that was offside, but we had some good chances in the beginning. Then we made some easy mistakes. Of course if we would’ve scored a goal or if we got the penalty than I think the game would’ve been changed, but that was not the case. We have to work on some thing to make it better like we have to keep going, train hard, prepare for the next match. It’s sad that we couldn’t win today, but today there was something missing, but I hope we find our way back. There were some thing that we did well, we could’ve scored the first goal and changed the game. Sometimes it’s very close with these kind of thing but today was for us."
On his attempts to work on the left side of the field
"Yes, I wanted to create overlaps in the midfield, we tried something which was good. We had more overload when the midfield was up, we should’ve used in better, used the gaps better, using the right moment. But with these things we can still improve and make things easier for everyone, a good position."
On the atmosphere at BMO Field
"I think it was a great atmosphere, kind of like the anthem. It was a great atmosphere, Toronto is a good team, they play well. Our team is on our way, we want to progress and improve as fast as possible. This game was good for us to learn something to still improve and we will work in training and prepare for New York."
