Fan Appreciation Night at Soldier Field is set for this Saturday, when Chicago Fire FC hosts Real Salt Lake for a 7 p.m. CT kickoff.

Alongside several special activities, giveaways, and activations planned for matchday, fans planning on attending Saturday’s match can find the latest information on health and safety protocols as well as parking and directions to Soldier Field here:

Masks will be required in indoor spaces when not actively eating or drinking.

PARKING AND DIRECTIONS: Click here to view parking information and directions to Soldier Field by car, public transportation, or rideshare.

CLEAR BAG POLICY: NO bags will be permitted in the stadium other than clear bags not exceeding 12” x 12”, 6” or smaller, ADA/medical bags and manufactured diaper bags.

Additional highlights of what fans can expect throughout their Fan Appreciation Night experience at Soldier Field are below:

#CHIvRSL MATCHDAY TIMELINE:

  • 3:30 PM - Burnham Downs and North Garage parking lot open
  • 4:00 PM - Remaining parking lots open
  • 5:30 PM - Stadium gates open
  • 6:00 PM - Starting XI flags are raised outside Gate 5
  • 7:00 PM - Kickoff against Real Salt Lake

NEW CREST MERCH GIVEAWAY:

Fans in attendance on Saturday will be among the first to get their hands on items featuring the Club’s brand new crest! 10,000 new crest hats will be given out alongside 10,000 new crest flags to the first fans in the building. Get in early and be sure to grab yours!

FAN APPRECIATION PRIZES:

All match long, fans in attendance will be randomly selected to win prizes, including things like Red Hot Chili Pepper and Coldplay concert tickets at Soldier Field, match-used items like corner flags and the goal net, products from the Club’s partners, and more. In addition, randomly selected Season Ticket Holders will win the game-worn jerseys from all 20 dressed players!

POSTMATCH FIREWORKS:

Stick around following the final whistle on Saturday for a postmatch fireworks display showcasing music and highlights from 2021.

800-POUND PUMPKIN:

Yes, you read that right! Celebrate spooky season with the perfect photo opportunity in front of a giant, 800-pound, Fire-branded pumpkin on site at Burnham Downs. Read on to find out all the different Fan Appreciation Night activities happening at our brand new pre-match tailgate area outside Soldier Field’s southwest entrance.

BURNHAM DOWNS:

Burnham Downs opens up at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, 30 minutes earlier than usual. The all-new space includes various fan-focused activities, with Fire merchandise, food, soft drinks, beer and other beverages, available for purchase.

On Saturday, the La Cocinita food truck will be making a special appearance at Burnham Downs during pregame. Be sure to try their Chicago Fire-themed breakfast taco - a flour tortilla with scrambled eggs, pulled pork, cilantro-cabbage Slaw, cotija cheese, and "Stupid Hot" salsa!

In addition, this weekend’s activities at Burnham Downs includes an on-site live mural painting by Chicago artist Miguel Del Real, DJ Archi spinning tunes, a $1,000 Speed Kick Competition presented by CIBC and product samples from Pizza Puff and MadeGood!

STARTING XI FLAGS:

Catch a new matchday tradition located outside Gate 5 on the southwest side of Soldier Field. Happening prior to every match, join Fire PA announcer Tico Fernandez as the Fire’s starting lineup is revealed.

SOUTH COURTYARD SETUP:

Swing by the Dr. Pepper Patio Stage at Soldier Field’s South Courtyard on matchday, where Chicago artist DJ Tess will be spinning all the crowd favorites ahead of kickoff. The South Courtyard also features eMLS stations with EA Sports FIFA 22, the Heineken 360 camera, and samples of Heineken 0.0.

QUICKSTRIKE MARKET:

An all-new way to grab exclusive, autographed Fire merchandise, match-worn gear, and more can be found at the Quickstrike Market at Soldier Field. Check it out it inside Gate 0 on your way into the match. Kit customization will be available at Quickstrike as well.

NEW CREST VENDING MACHINES:

Inside Soldier Field at Quickstrike Market in the South Courtyard, next to the new Crest Photo Opp in section 128 and the United Club in Section 210 (adjacent to the Season Ticket kiosks), fans will find special vending machines stocked with buttons featuring the Club's new crest!
