Dax McCarty

As the U.S. Men's National Team prepares to close its January Camp with Friday's friendly vs. Jamaica, Fire midfielder and U.S. international Dax McCarty took time to chat with Roger Bennett of "Men In Blazers". McCarty opens up in the interview about his approach to his long-awaited U.S. call-up, the end of his tenure New York, and what he's looking to bring upon his arrival to the Men In Red.

"They know that I'm the type of guy...I haven't been part of a losing team in a long time," McCarty says in part. "Losing and me, we don't go well together. I don't enjoy losing. I think some of the moves the Chicago Fire made in the offseason are great moves, bringing in guys like Juninho, guys like (Nemanja) Nikolic, a guy who scored goals at the highest level in Europe and seems to be a fantastic addition. These are the types of guys you want to play with."
