After earning an important point on the road against D.C. United, the Chicago Fire aims to keep the momentum going against Eastern Conference rival Orlando City SC. Beginning at 7:30 p.m. CT, the match will be broadcast globally on MLS Season Pass and transmitted locally on (English) and WRTO 1200 AM (Spanish).

Orlando is looking to rebound from a 2-0 loss at home against reigning champions Columbus Crew as they embark on a two-game road stretch. The Lions’ previous victory came in a 3-2 win against the Philadelphia Union on May 11 at Subaru Park.

  • Head Coach Frank Klopas made one change to the lineup that faced D.C. United on Saturday at Audi Field.
  • Midfielder Kellyn Acosta will don the captain’s armband for the second straight match for the Fire. Acosta scored the game-tying goal for Chicago in the 1-1 tie against D.C. United.
  • Forward Hugo Cuypers remains the only player to start all 16 of Chicago’s matches so far in the 2024 regular season. Cuypers added to his goal contributions for 2024 with the assist on Acosta’s goal in the Nation’s capital.
  • Forward Tim Barlow starts for a second time, playing in his 13th match for the Men in Red in the 2024 regular season.
  • Midfielder Federico Navarro earns his fifth overall start of 2024, lining up from the outset for the fourth consecutive time.
  • Goalkeeper Chris Brady and defender Rafael Czichos start for the 14th time in the regular season.
  • Defender Jonathan Dean starts his third overall match of 2024, spelling Allan Arigoni who is suspended due to yellow card accumulation.
  • Defender Carlos Terán starts his fifth straight game of the regular season, and his sixth overall of 2024. Czichos and Terán start together for the fourth time this season.
  • Defender/midfielder Mauricio Pineda returns to the starting lineup, earning his seventh start of 2024 and 97th career start for the Men in Red.
  • Defender Andrew Gutman makes his seventh-straight start, and eighth start overall. Gutman has started every match in which he has played for the Men in Red so far in 2024.
  • Homegrown midfielder Brian Gutiérrez starts for the 12th time in 2024, participating in his 103rd game for his hometown Club.
  • Defenders Allan Arigoni (yellow card accumulation), Chase Gasper (leg) and Tobias Salquist (leg); and midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri (international duty) are unavailable for today’s match.
  • Available off the bench for Coach Klopas are goalkeeper Spencer Richey; defenders Wyatt Omsberg and Arnaud Souquet; midfielders Javier Casas Jr., Gastón Giménez, Maren Haile-Selassie, Fabian Herbers and Chris Mueller; and forward Georgios Koutsias.
