Chicago celebrates Kids Night, presented by Hyundai, on the lakefront for the Club’s third match in the last seven days, as the team is set to host Atlanta United FC at Soldier Field tonight.

Chicago will look to maintain its positive momentum at home after falling 2-1 against Charlotte FC on the road on Wednesday. Entering tonight’s match, the Fire are one of just four teams in the Eastern Conference to remain undefeated at home in 2023, with the Club extending its home unbeaten streak to seven matches with a 1-0 victory in its last outing at Soldier Field against St. Louis CITY SC on May 13.

Atlanta United (6-4-3, 21 points) comes to Chicago after snapping a three-game winless streak with a 4-0 victory against the Colorado Rapids on Wednesday night. The Five Stripes enter the contest with 21 points gained through its first 13 matches, sitting in fourth place in the East.

Kickoff today is slated for 7:30 p.m. CT live on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. The match will also be transmitted locally in English on 890 WLS-AM and wlsam.com and in Spanish on TUDN 1200 AM. The English radio broadcast will also feature a 30-minute pre-match show, beginning at 7 p.m. CT, followed by a 30-minute post-match show.

  • Only one change was made to the lineup that faced Charlotte FC in Matchday 13 of the MLS regular season on May 17 at Bank of America Stadium. Midfielder Fabian Herbers replaces Gastón Giménez, who is unavailable for selection tonight due to yellow card accumulation.
  • Herbers will partner alongside Federico Navarro in central midfield. Navarro is making his 49th MLS appearance for the Fire tonight, placing the 23-year-old one shy of 50 League appearances in a Fire jersey.
  • Forward Kacper Przybyłko starts for the second-consecutive league match after scoring his third goal of the season against Charlotte FC on Wednesday.
  • The attacking midfield trio of Xherdan Shaqiri, Brian Gutiérrez and Maren Haile-Selassie line up together for the second-straight match, with Shaqiri manning the middle of the park, Gutiérrez on the left flank and Haile-Selassie on the right.
  • Captain Rafael Czichos once again leads a backline of Arnaud Souquet, Mauricio Pineda and Miguel Navarro for a second-straight match.
  • Goalkeeper Chris Brady once again backstops the group, manning the net in his 11th start of the season.
  • Available to Klopas as substitutions today are goalkeeper Spencer Richey, defenders Alonso Aceves, Kendall Burks and Wyatt Omsberg, midfielders Javier Casas Jr., Chris Mueller and Jairo Torres, and forwards Missael Rodríguez and Georgios Koutsias.
  • Defenders Jonathan Dean (left adductor) and Carlos Téran (right upper leg), midfielder Giménez (yellow card accumulation), and forward Kei Kamara (left adductor*) are unavailable for selection tonight.
