Chicago Fire FC secured a thrilling road win on Saturday night in a 3-2 victory at TQL Stadium against FC Cincinnati. Following the victory, two of the Fire’s promising young players - forward Jhon Durán and midfielder Brian Gutiérrez - were named to the MLS Team of the Week for Week 33.

Durán was named to the TOTW starting XI after scoring a second half brace, grabbing his team-leading seventh and eighth goals of the season. His first goal was provided by Gutiérrez, whose pass placed Durán one-on-one against Cincinnati goalkeeper Roman Celentano. Durán calmly placed the ball in the back of the net in the 56th minute.

Gutiérrez would find the Colombian once again in the 75th minute, teeing up Durán to hit a first-time chip shot from distance to stun the Cincinnati crowd. With the brace, the 18-year-old striker became the third player in league history to notch three multi-goal games before the age of 19, joining Eddie Gaven and Ricardo Pepi.

Gutiérrez grabbed his sixth and seventh assists of the season on the aforementioned Durán goals, and also scored his second of the season on the night. The goal came in the 59th minute, when a clever pass from Chris Mueller played Gutiérrez into the 18-yard box for an expertly struck ball past the 'keeper.

Durán and Gutiérrez will both be hungry for more as Chicago prepares to host the New England Revolution on Sunday, Oct. 9 at SeatGeek Stadium at 1:30 p.m. CT. Coverage for the team's final match of the season can be found on WGN, CF97 Live, Univision Radio, and MLS Live's out-of-market package on ESPN+.
