Details revealed for 2019 eMLS Cup at PAX East in Boston on March 30

Just as the MLS season kicksoff, the eMLS season comes to an end with the final event, the 2019 edition of eMLS Cup presented by PlayStation.


The closure of the eMLS season will take place at The Castle at Park Plaza in Boston following the dayā€™s activities at Pax East. The event will be open to the public with free shuttles from Pax East to The Castle provided to Pax East Badge Holders.


Fans in attendance will have a plethora of activities such as being able to be a part of the live EA Sports FIFA 19 event and see the eMLS Cup champion crowned, collect their very own eMLS merchandise, creative personalized FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) cards, play FIFA 19 at open-play stations and enjoy a variety of refreshments.


Doors will open to the public at 5 PM CT. For fans not in attendance, eMLS Cup 2019 will be streamed on Twitch, Twitter, and MLSsoccer.com


Prior to crowning the eMLS Cup 2019 champion, there will be one final regular season where all 22 players will face off against each player from the opposite conference for the first time. At the conclusion of this final regular season, their records from League Series One and Two plus the eMLS Cup final regular season will be aggregated and the top 5 players from each conference will qualify for the final stage. The remaining teams who did not qualify will compete in a Last Chance Qualifying Tournament with the top players from each conference qualifying. Players are not only competing for eMLS Cup glory which includes a trophy and a cash prize but players will also receive 850 FIFA Global Series Points, which will position them to make the Global Series Playoffs. That, in turn, will give players the chance to qualify for the FIFA eWorld Cup and be crowned the best FIFA player in the world.
