Chicago Fire Return Home To Host Philadelphia Union

CHICAGO FIRE RETURN HOME AFTER THREE-GAME ROAD SWING, WELCOME PHILADELPHIA UNION TO TOYOTA PARK

The Chicago Fire (3-4-10, 19 points) return home to host the Philadelphia Union (4-8-7, 19 points) at Toyota Park on Saturday, July 19 at 7:30 p.m. CT (My50/TWCSC Wisconsin/La Ley 107.9 FM). Tickets for the match, presented by Cricket Wireless, are available via Ticketmaster or www.Chicago-Fire.com. The first 5,000 fans in the stadium will receive a free Fire flag.


Prior to Saturday’s match the Union will host the New York Red Bulls at PPL Park on Wednesday, July 16 at 6 p.m. CT (ESPN2).

CHICAGO FIRE VS. PHILADELPHIA UNION

-The Fire are 4-5-2 against the Union in regular season play, with an even 2-2-2 record in matches played at home.


-This is the second of three meetings between the two sides this season. In the first leg of the season series, the Fire and Union drew 2-2 at Toyota Park on April 5. The third match of the season will take place at PPL Park in Chester, Pa. on Oct. 2 at 6 p.m. CT.


-Union Interim Team Manager Jim Curtin was a member of the Fire for the first seven seasons of his professional career. Selected in the third round (29th overall) of the 2001 MLS SuperDraft, Curtin made 151 MLS Regular Season appearances for the Men in Red, winning the 2003 and 2006 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup championships and was named a  2004 MLS All-Star during his time with the Fire. In a special ceremony, Curtin retired as a member of the Fire on April 4, 2014.


CHICAGO FIRE HOST TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FC JULY 26 AT TOYOTA PARK
The Chicago Fire Soccer Club will welcome Barclays Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur to Toyota Park in an international friendly on Saturday, July 26 at 7 p.m. CT (ESPN2).


This is just the fifth time that the Fire will welcome an English side to the Chicagoland area. The Men in Red are 2-2-0 in international friendlies against clubs from England, including Aston Villa, Manchester United, Everton and Derby County.

CHICAGO FIRE SOCCER CLUB TO HOST FOURTH ANNUAL WHITE PARTY

The Chicago Fire Soccer Club is set to host the Fourth Annual White Party at the MCA Warehouse (1747 West Hubbard Street, Chicago, Ill.) on Thursday, August 7 from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. CT.


The White Party features guests in their most stylish white attire enjoying a premium open bar, food from various Chicagoland restaurants, a live DJ and more. The event also allows guests the opportunity to mingle with Fire players, coaches and staff members in a fun, unique setting.


A sell-out for the past two consecutive years, the White Party is the Chicago Fire Foundation’s most prolific event. In 2013, tickets to the party sold out in record time as the event drew more than 700 guests and raised more than $50,000.


Tickets to the White Party begin at $60 for general admission and $80 for VIP admission, which includes an upgraded gift bag and access to the VIP lounge with exclusive food and bar options. All proceeds from the event will support the Chicago Fire Foundation’s community efforts.
