Hernández then scored goal of his own in the 64th minute when midfielder Michael Flores won a ball near the top of the box and deftly touched it into space to his left. Hernández ran onto the pass, sending a left-footed shot into the back of the net.

Rodríguez completed his hattrick in the 90+1st minute after a ball was mis-cleared by the defense and landed to his feet. He outmaneuvered his opponents up the right flank, calmly striking with confidence into the right side of the goal.
