Chicago Fire FC Announces Two Additional 2021 Preseason Games

CHICAGO(March 26, 2021) – Chicago Fire FC today announced its two final games of the 2021 preseason, presented by Motorola.


Ten days prior to the start of the 2021 MLS regular season, the Fire will face its USL League One affiliate Forward Madison FC at SeatGeek Stadium on Wednesday, April 7, at 12:00 p.m. CT. Three days later, on Saturday, April 10, the Club will host Vancouver Whitecaps FC at SeatGeek Stadium at 11:30 a.m. CT.


The Club’s preseason friendlies against Forward Madison and Whitecaps FC will be streamed live on www.ChicagoFireFC.com. Per league rules, the stream will be available for fans who live within a 75-mile radius of Soldier Field. Both games will be called by Fire play-by-play commentator Tyler Terens.


The Fire are currently in Orlando, Fla., for preseason training camp. Having already faced New York City FC and the Philadelphia Union in Orlando and Clearwater, respectively, the Club is next scheduled to take on FC Cincinnati on Saturday, March 27 at 10:30 a.m. CT. The match against FC Cincinnati will be streamed live on www.ChicagoFireFC.com. Chicago will close out the Florida portion of its preseason training camp with a closed door match against Orlando City SC on Saturday, April 3 at 10:30 a.m. CT.


The Fire will open the 2021 MLS regular season against the New England Revolution at Soldier Field on Saturday, April 17. The match against the Revolution is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. CT and will be broadcast live on WGN-TV and Univision Radio Chicago. Additionally, the Fire, along with Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot, recently announced plans to welcome fans to Soldier Field under the city of Chicago’s limited capacity guidelines, beginning on April 17. Season ticket, partial plan and group ticket buyers will get access to tickets before the general public.
