CHICAGO (July 19, 2021) – Chicago Fire FC today announced that midfielder Stanislav Ivanov has been added to the Club’s active roster, effective immediately. The Bulgarian winger will now be eligible for selection for the Fire’s 20-man gameday roster, beginning with Wednesday’s home match against D.C. United.
Ivanov, 22, was previously placed on the Club’s Injured Reserve list on March 23 after receiving arthroscopic surgery in his left knee to repair a medial meniscus tear.
The Fire will return to Soldier Field on Wednesday, July 21 to take on D.C. United on the lakefront. Beginning at 7:00 p.m. CT, the match will be broadcast live on WGN-TV, CFFC Live and WOJO 105.1 FM. Tickets to Wednesday’s match are available for purchase here.
