With the victory, and a perfect 7-0-0 record in MLS NEXT play, the U-15’s jumped over the Columbus Crew to claim the top spot in the Mid-America Division. Currently 9-0-1 on the season, the U-15 roster is one of the most exciting teams to watch in all of MLS NEXT.
They’ll look to make it 11-straight this Sunday, Nov. 20 when they host St. Louis CITY SC at the SeatGeek Stadium turf pitches. Kickoff is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. CT.
In the second and final match of the weekend, the U-17’s fell to FC Cincinnati 6-1 to round out the weekend. Scoring the lone goal for the Fire was Michael Ramirez, who continues to be a steady contributor on the scoresheet for the oldest members of the Chicago Fire Academy.
