Carvana and Chicago Fire FC Hit the Gas on “Mobile Locker Room” to Let Fans Swap Old Soccer Jerseys for New “Forever Red” Kit

One-day only “Kit Cab” stunt celebrates Carvana’s introduction as first founding partner of the Fire’s new stadium

CHICAGO (Feb. 19, 2026) –  Chicago Fire FC and front-of-kit partner Carvana are bringing a one-day mobile locker room truck to Chicago on Saturday, Feb. 21 where fans will have a chance to trade any non-Fire soccer jersey in for a free “Forever Red” kit while supplies last. The Kit Cab celebrates the launch of the Fire's 2026 “Forever Red” kit, the season kickoff and an extended partnership with Carvana. 

On Saturday, Feb. 21, the Kit Cab will stop in three Chicago neighborhoods from 10 a.m. CT to 4 p.m. CT, giving fans a chance to swap in any non-Fire soccer kit to receive a 2026 Chicago Fire FC kit while supplies last. Fans can visit the Carvana Kit Cab – featuring a fully customized interior replicating a soccer locker room – to try on kits and even snap photos with the Fire’s own Sparky. Kits will be donated to the Chicago Fire Foundation's Passback Program, which provides new and gently used soccer equipment to youth soccer programs around the city, helping create more opportunity and love for the global game.

  • 10 a.m.: Harrison Park on W. 18th St. 
  • 12:30 p.m.: Milwaukee Ave &. N. Damen Ave. 
  • 3 p.m.: Halsted St. & N. Lincoln Ave.

This month, Chicago Fire FC also announced that Carvana would be extending its multi-year commitment with the Club as the first founding partner of the Fire’s new privately-funded stadium, set to break ground next month. Latest renderings can be found here

Timed to the start of the Club’s 2026 season, driven by Carvana, the Kit Cab will tour Chicago on the same day as the Fire's first away match on the road against the Houston Dynamo on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 7:30 p.m. CT, at BBVA Stadium. The following weekend, the Fire will celebrate the 2026 home opener at Soldier Field, hosting Eastern Conference rival CF Montréal on Saturday, Feb. 28.
