WELCOME TO BURNHAM DOWNS!
Pre-match tailgating along the Lakefront is BACK, and there's no better place to start your Chicago Fire FC matchday than at our brand-new Burnham Downs experience.
Located on the southwest side of Soldier Field, Burnham Downs' festivities include various fan-focused activities, food, soft drinks, beer, and Fire merchandise available for purchase. On top of that, Burnham Downs is FREE and open to the public, with fun and games beginning three hours prior to every Fire home match.
Here's more of what you can expect this summer and fall:
Games: Test your soccer skills at the speed shot station or try to improve your foot-eye coordination at the reaction game, then pick up the sticks and take on opponents in EA Sports FIFA prior to the match.
Live Painting Wall: On weekend matches, Burnham Downs will feature local artists doing live wall paintings during the pregame festivities. Chicago-based mural painter Anthony Lewellen debuted this feature on July 3 with a live creation inspired by the Club's new crest.
Heineken Airstream Bar: For fans 21-and-over, head over to the new Heineken Airstream Bar for an ice-cold Heineken as you countdown to kickoff.
Food Trucks: Throughout the year, various local food trucks will be spotlighted showcasing the many diverse eats found around the city. Swing by to see who is featured each match.
Starting XI Flags: Catch a new matchday tradition located outside Gate 7Â on the southwest side of Soldier Field. Happening prior to every match, join Fire PA announcer Tico Fernandez and shout the players last names as the flags are raised 60 minutes before kickoff.
