Alec Kann

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (April 19, 2015) — On loan from the Chicago Fire, goalkeeper Alec Kann made his first start in net for USL affiliate Saint Louis FC Saturday night against the visiting Rochester Rhinos. Kann recorded four saves in SLFC’s 1-0 defeat in front of more than 5,000 fans at World Wide Technology Soccer Park.

Fellow Fire loanee Patrick Doody again earned the start on the Saints’ back line and went the full 90 in the loss.

The Rhinos, who remain unbeaten at 3-0-2 this season, received the match-winner in the 78th minute when Colin Rolfe latched onto a through ball and deposited his shot to the far post beyond Kann's reach.

Saint Louis FC now stands at 1-2-1 overall ahead of an upcoming trip to the Oklahoma City Energy, a match set for 7 p.m. CT Saturday in OKC.
