Senior Vice President, Corporate Partnerships

Goyo Perez was hired as the Chicago Fire’s Vice President of Partnership Sales in March 2023 and was promoted to Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships in March 2024.

Perez, a seasoned sales executive, is responsible for leading the Corporate Partnerships department with a focus on securing new partners, retaining and growing current partners, and setting the vision and direction for the group. In his first year with the Club, Perez led the Corporate Partnerships team to double partnership business, increase the partner roster by 75%, and successfully secure a new Front of Kit Partner, Carvana.

Prior to joining the Fire, Perez gained over nine years of experience developing sponsorship and sales strategies and outperforming revenue goals. Most recently, Perez served as VP of Partnerships for SponsorUnited, a global sports and entertainment intelligence platform, where he was responsible for leading and scaling a global team of 15 professionals, including all brand and agency commercial partnerships. Perez also served as Director of Global Partnerships with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he was responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and executing sponsorship strategy across North America. Prior to the UFC, Perez spent five years with the Miami Dolphins, where he worked as a Group Sales Account Executive and Premium Sales Manager, before working his way up to Sr. Manager of Corporate Partnerships, where he was responsible for generating revenue by sourcing and closing strategic partnerships with brands by leveraging Miami Dolphins IP Rights, in-stadium exposure, Dolphins media channels, and events.

In addition to his corporate sales experience, Perez has worked as an entrepreneur, cofounding Cutting Edge Sports and Entertainment, where he partnered with U.S. sports marketing agencies to service and monetize professional Mexican soccer teams. Perez also serves as partner and strategic investor in Glory Vodka, LLC, a South Florida-based vodka company with a regional presence.

Perez graduated from American University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a marketing minor.
