Bruno Cardoso, Goalkeeper Coach

Cardoso is a former professional goalkeeper from Brazil, playing 18 years for S.E. Palmeiras, one of the biggest and most traditional clubs. He started at the Palmeiras youth academy when he was 13-years-old playing at all levels. He also represented the U-17 Brazil National Team, and signed his first professional contract at the age of 16.

Throughout the years he played in all major South American tournaments, including Copa Libertadores, and was elected the Brazil Cup’s best goalkeeper during Palmeiras title run in 2012. In 2016 he continued his career by moving to the USA to play for the Fort Lauderdale Strikers, retiring in 2017 after a 17-year career as a professional soccer player. Bruno holds the NSCAA advanced national goalkeeping diploma, US SOCCER B license and UEFA B goalkeeper coach license.

His experience also includes working as goalkeeper coach/assistant coach for Lynn University, Florida National University; Miramar United Fc, Sunrise Prime and Sunrise Sting Soccer Club, where he was also the director of goalkeepers. He also spent 6 months with Inter Miami Academy as intern goalkeeper coach.
