Chicago Fire FC II returns to SeatGeek Stadium to face New England Revolution II on Sunday, July 13.
The Fire return to Bridgeview with a team-record nine-game unbeaten streak in hand. Chicago extended that streak at second-place Chattanooga FC last Saturday. After 52 minutes of defensive football, a combination play broke the deadlock when Claudio Cassano sent a cross to the right side to Trip Fleming. The midfielder passed it forward into the box for Harold Osorio, who laid it off for Jason Shokalook. With one touch, Shokalook sent the ball into the back of the net from the right side of the box for his fifth goal of the season. Goalkeeper Patrick Los finished the game with six saves to earn his third shutout of the season in the 1-0 victory over Chattanooga.
New England returns to SeatGeek Stadium for the second time this season after playing Chicago to a 2-2 draw in a weather-delayed match that ended on June 9. The Revolution will wrap up a three-game road trip on Sunday, beginning with a 2-2 draw at Philadelphia on June 26 before a 2-1 win over Columbus Crew 2 in the Buckeye State. Midfielder Cristiano Oliveira won the last match with a stoppage time goal that put New England in sixth place of the Eastern Conference standings.

Player Spotlight: David Tchétchao Karo

David Tchétchao has been working his way back into the fold (Dan Svoboda | Chicago Fire FC)
Beninese forward David Tchétchao Karo arrived in Chicago in 2024 as dynamic player with experience with his senior national team. Tchétchao found his footing just as Chicago Fire II got into the heart of the season, helping the team earn a playoff spot for the second year in a row. But he would not be able to enjoy the postseason, leaving a June 2024 match with a knee injury that would prematurely end his season.
Tchétchao worked hard to recover, finally making his 2025 debut on June 14 at Carolina Core FC. He is now ramping up his playing minutes as the season enters the home stretch, ready to contribute with his scintillating runs on the wing for Chicago.
