HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (April 11, 2026) – Chicago Fire FC II (1-1-3-3, 9 points) earned an extra point following a 0-0 draw against Huntsville City FC (1-2-1-1, 6 points) Saturday night at Wicks Family Field.

Midfielder Matteo Clark made his Chicago Fire II debut in the match as the visiting CFII won their second straight shootout and third of the season.

The Chicago defense quelled the dynamic Huntsville attack throughout 90 minutes, limiting the hosts to only one shot on goal to extend an unbeaten streak to three.

Despite missing the opening shot of the ensuing shootout, Oscar Pineda, Jack Sandmeyer and Tidiane Diawara all confidently made their shots for CFII before the hosts missed in a crucial fourth round. Chicago Fire Academy midfielder Milan Napoe stepped up for the fifth and final kick, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way to win a second point for Chicago.

NEXT MATCH: Chicago Fire FC II will kick off a two-game homestand with a Southeast Division matchup against Atlanta United 2 on Saturday, April 18. First kick at SeatGeek Stadium is scheduled for 3 p.m. CT, with admission and parking free for all fans. The match can be streamed across the globe on OneFootball and MLSNEXTPro.com.
