The Chicago Fire FC Communications department will permit a select number of written press, photographers and non-rights holders to attend Chicago Fire FC II matches at SeatGeek Stadium.

Submission of an application for Credentials is not a guarantee of approval. Media members who are approved for credentials must adhere to the following guidelines. Failure to comply may result in the revocation of credentials and access.

Media Will Call

All credentialed media members must check-in at Media Will Call, which will be located just inside Gate D. Media Will Call will open one hour before scheduled kickoff.

Following check-in, media members will be directed to the press box. The location of said press box will be disseminated ahead of each match to attending media members only.

Credentials

Media who were previously approved for season credentials must confirm their attendance with Carlos Rodriguez (crodriguez@chicagofirefc.com) prior to each match.

All credentials will be made available at Media Will Call on the day of the game. The application for single-game credentials will close 48 hours prior to the match.

Parking

Complimentary parking will be available for media members in the VIP lot at SeatGeek Stadium, which can be accessed via Parking Gate S2.

Written Press

All credentialed print and online media will be assigned a seat in the press box. The press box will be restricted to credentialed media members and Club personnel. Print and online media are not permitted to roam the stadium and must remain in the press box during the duration of their time at SeatGeek Stadium.

Photographers and Videographers

All credentialed photographers and videographers will be permitted to shoot the match on either endline near the corner flags on field level. Per league protocol, photographers and videographers will not be allowed to enter the playing field or other restricted areas. Photographers are also not allowed to enter the locker room at any time. The location of the photo work room will be determined prior to each match.

Photographers and ENG crews can choose which endline to shoot from after the coin toss and must head directly to their place. They cannot switch endlines during each half, only during halftime. Photographers and videographers cannot be in the tunnels during the game.

Non-Rights Holders

Non-rights holders will be allowed to film the first fifteen minutes of each half from assigned positions behind the field boards on either endline near the corner flags.

Prior to the start of the match, non-rights holders will have the ability to shoot stand-ups and live hits. Media members planning to shoot stand-ups and live hits must e-mail Elizabeth Sánchez (esanchez@chicagofirefc.com) prior to the match to confirm the location. Non-rights holders will not be allowed to enter the playing field at any time.

Post-Game Interviews

In-person post-game interviews with the head coach and a select player will take place approximately 15 minutes after the final whistle. No cell phone video recording will be permitted during the interviews. Assets from the interviews will not be shared following the conclusion of the match; for special requests, please contact Carlos Rodriguez ahead of the media availability.
