Watch: Indiana Fire Academy product Cameron Lindley scores long-range goal for UNC

Indiana Fire Academy product and University of North Carolina midfielder Cameron Lindley collected an array of postseason awards following his 2016 freshman campaign, and he appears to be on his way to another fine season in Chapel Hill.

Lindley scored the second goal of his sophomore season in impressive fashion Saturday against Pittsburgh, finding net from some 30 yards out in the 53rd minute. The stellar strike stood up as the game-winner in a 2-1 Tar Heels victory.

Lindley was the 2016 ACC Freshman of the Year, the TopDrawerSoccer Freshman of the Year and an NSCAA Second-Team All-American during his first collegiate season with UNC, as he and fellow Fire Academy product Mauricio Pineda helped the Heels to the NCAA College Cup semifinals.
