Fire to Host Toronto FC in Front of Sold-Out Crowd at Toyota Park

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. (August 18, 2017) — The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced Friday (August 18) that tickets for Saturday’s home match against Eastern Conference-leading Toronto FC are sold out. The game will air live at 7 p.m. CT on CSN Chicago, with pregame coverage beginning at 6:30 p.m.


The game marks the fourth consecutive home sellout for the Fire and the fifth this season. 


The Fire (12-7-5, 41 pts.), currently third in the Eastern Conference and riding a club-record nine-game home winning streak, are set to play at home four of the next five Saturday nights as they continue their push to the MLS playoffs. Due to the anticipated large crowd, fans attending Saturday’s match are encouraged to allow extra travel time and enter the stadium early. Parking lots open at 4 p.m. and stadium gates open at 6 p.m. The first 10,000 fans through the gates will receive a pack of commemorative Chicago Fire 20th Season playing cards presented by Valspar.


The matchup with Toronto FC (13-3-8, 47 pts.) is expected to feature a total of seven 2017 MLS All-Stars, including the Fire’s Bastian Schweinsteiger, Dax McCarty, Nemanja Nikolic and Johan Kappelhof along with Toronto FC standouts Michael Bradley, Jozy Altidore and Sebastian Giovinco.
