Harry Shipp is the big winner of the Aldi Goal of the Year first round, with his #1 seeded second strike on June 7 vs. Seattle easily moving past #4 Matt Watson's long distance deflection September 20 vs. D.C. into the second phase of the tournament. 


THURSDAY'S MATCHUP:

I hope you're not sick of Harry yet as today will mark the first of three straight days the Fire rookie will play for Aldi Goal of the Year Bracket Championships. Today in the Armas Bracket final it's the Cinderella matchup of Shipp's #3 seeded third goal from May 10 at New York or #4 seeded Quincy Amarikwa's individual effort from September 20 vs. D.C.


Thursday's matchup marks the first of two second round matches between Shipp and Amarikwa with the other coming Monday, November 17 in the Nowak Final.
