Stand For Chicago Patch Series - Designs 3 and 4
Much-needed conversations and action around social justice and equal opportunity for the Black community have recently taken place in our country. Chicago Fire FC is committed to continuing those conversations.
First worn as a captain's armband at the MLS Is Back Tournament in July, the Fire has throught this fall worn the Black Lives Matter jersey patch, an original design by Chicago-based artist Dwight White and a sign of solidarity with the Black community's continued push for equality.
For months, members of Chicago Fire FC have stood in awe and appreciation of Chicago's medical personnel and essential workers for their service throughout the pandemic. Those brave Chicagoans have been with us on our secondary jerseys throughout the return to play.
In Chicago and across the country, this week represents a historic opportunity to participate in our democracy and help shape the future of our communities. In wearing a custom 'VOTE' patch, Chicago Fire FC encourages everyone to stand for Chicago and make their voices heard by exercising your right to vote.
