November 7, 2009 - Chicago Fire vs. New England Revolution


One of the most beloved figures in Club history, Cuauhtémoc Blanco scored 19 goals in 77 appearances across all competitions in a Fire shirt. None meant more than when he helped the club claim victory in the 2009 Eastern Conference semifinals with an 83rd minute winner in front of a sold out Chicago crowd. April 1, 2017 - Chicago Fire vs. Montreal Impact


A FIFA World Cup and UEFA Champions League winner, Bastian Schweinsteiger immediately became one of the league's brightest stars when he joined the Fire in 2017. April 4, 1998 - Chicago Fire vs. Tampa Bay Mutiny


As the Club awaits a new date for its postponed Soldier Field Homecoming, take a look back at Chicago Fire's 1998 inaugural home match at Soldier Field. It was the start of a new era in Chicago as the Fire hosted the Tampa Bay Mutiny. Chicago’s own Frank Klopas netted twice as the Fire blanked the visitors 2-0 in the Club’s successful start to their stay along the lakefront.
