It's an away day in Atlanta on Saturday as Chicago Fire FC hits the road to take on Atlanta United for an Eastern Conference meeting at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Head Coach Ezra Hendrickson and his side will relish a chance to get back in the win column coming out of a pair of back-to-back defeats, while Atlanta will be looking to stop a two-game skid of their own.

  • Three changes have been made to the starting lineup that faced the New York Red Bulls last weekend.
  • Of this week's pair of new arrivals, winger Chris Mueller will be available for selection as a substitute, while Jairo Torres (left hip) will miss tonight's match due to injury.
  • Defender Carlos Terán will make his first start of the 2022 season in place of Rafael Czichos, who will serve a one-game suspension for the red card he was shown in the second half of last weekend's defeat to the Red Bulls. Terán has made two starts for Chicago Fire II in MLS Next Pro play while on the path to recovery from a right thigh injury. He'll partner with Wyatt Omsberg in central defense this evening.
  • Midfielder Federico Navarro returns to the starting XI after missing last weekend's match against New York due to red card suspension. He'll partner with Mauricio Pineda in holding midfield.
  • Midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri will wear the captain's armband tonight. He'll be flanked by Stanislav Ivanov and Homegrown product Brian Gutiérrez. Shaqiri scored the Fire's lone goal last weekend from the penalty spot, his second goal of the season.
  • Forward Chinonso Offor gets his second-straight start, and will lead the attacking line tonight. Fellow forwards Kacper PrzybyÅ‚ko (left calf) and Jhon Durán (red card suspension) will miss tonight's match.
  • Rounding out the defense are Boris Sekulić and Miguel Navarro, who will lineup opposite one another as a fullback tandem for the 49th time. They'll be backstopped by 17-year-old goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina.
  • Available to Hendrickson as substitutions tonight are goalkeeper Chris Brady, defender Jonathan Bornstein, defender Kendall Burks, defender Jhon Espinoza, midfielder Javier Casas Jr., midfielder Sergio Oregel, forward Fabian Herbers, Chris Mueller, and forward Victor Bezerra.
  • Midfielder Gastón Giménez (right hip), midfielder Alex Monis (right ankle), midfielder Jairo Torres (left hip), forward Kacper PrzybyÅ‚ko (left calf), and goalkeeper Spencer Richey (head) are unavailable for selection tonight due to injury.
